World Kindness Day 2019

13th November 2019 marks National Kindness Day and to celebrate we want to share some of the kind things our young people have been getting up to with their social action projects. Take a look below...

Winter Warmer Hampers

With the cold weather coming in, Kidz that Care, wanted to make a difference to those on the streets by running their own homeless hamper drive. The group will be collecting essential basic items before packing up their kits and taking them out to those homeless and vulnerable.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Mental health rates are soaring and so this group wanted to put measures in place to reach those most in need of additional support. The group have set up their own youth session aimed at improved the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people.

Community Decorators

Key Group, NP squared, donned their coveralls and grabbed their paint brushes as they headed to a neighbouring charity to updo and decorate their old, delipidated offices. Following this, the group went on to fixing up an old shed in the community garden.

Day to Remember

After being inspired by a poppy themed art installation, The Poppy Posse, decided to create something similar in their own village to honour the fallen heroes. The young cadets spent 9 months recycling over 500 plastic bottles and turning them into hand decorated remembrance poppies. The group then used them to decorate the old drill hall, a building built by army volunteers during WW1.

Tidying up the community!

Litter and rubbish had been plaguing their local town when this group decided enough was enough with their Key Project. The group rallied around and initiated their own community clean-up project by tidying their local dene, park and beach!

Our young people spread so much kindness each and every day and we are proud to be part of their development journey. Thanks to The Key Framework our inspirational youngsters reach and support thousands of members of the community.
