SAGE Big Give Live

Last week, The Key were chosen by Sage Foundation to head to Seville for their #SagePartnerSummit to participate in the Big Give Live. It was such an exciting opportunity for us as we were the only UK charity and 1 of just 3 European charities total chosen to take part.

On the day, The Key alongside French charity, Movjee, and Spanish charity, La Rueca, pitched our work to a panel of judges and delegates of the conference with hopes of winning a gift of $15,000, $10,000 or $5,000 dollars. It was a fast paced pitch with just 3 minutes to get The Key and all we do across.

Following the pitch it was a short Q&A session with the judges and audience before the deliberation started. We had such a fantastic time getting to meet lots of wonderful people and some very like-minded youth charities and in the end we walked away with the audience award of $10,000.

We’re so grateful to have such a good partnership with Sage and Sage Foundation. Over the years we’ve been able to inspire belief in so many young people together and as a result of Big Give Live we’ll be able to reach even more. Check out some pictures of our trip below…
