JOIN THE KEY'S TRUSTEE BOARD AS TREASURER!
We are seeking a skilled and supportive individual to volunteer their time and join The Key’s Trustee Board as Treasurer. Whether you’re an experienced trustee or exploring your first trusteeship, we are committed to providing the support you need to succeed in this exciting role.
As Treasurer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation is well-governed and complies with financial legislation and best practices related to charities and charitable income.
With a Finance and Admin Coordinator handling daily financial tasks and bookkeeping, and an external accountant preparing management accounts, you will volunteer your experience to support the CEO in reviewing quarterly management accounts and setting the agenda for the Finance and Risk Committee.
You will collaborate with the CEO, the Chair, internal team, and external accountant to ensure that income and expenditure aligns. Additionally, you will support the team in ensuring that financial processes and systems are effective, appropriate, and not overly burdensome.
By taking on this rewarding voluntary role, you’ll become part of a dynamic board and play a key role in guiding The Key’s financial future, all while helping to inspire belief in young people.
